You know when you meet someone and you’re like omg this girl is freaking awesome… that was totally me when I met Mandi! So this totally sounds like a love story but there’s nothing like the love and friendship between a wedding photographer and her bride and groom. When we first met during her bridal consultation at Starbucks in Kennesaw I knew from the beginning these two were more than just my ideal clients but friends. During our meeting I got to hear their love story about how they met, and how she knew he was the one (guitar player and all). Mandi glowed the entire time she talked about Zachary, the wedding, his family, her family, and all the details in between. When we started to talk logistics of wedding details (where I normally help the bride decide on things based on my previous knowledge and suggestions), I realized these two had it all together. Nearly every detail of the entire wedding had been planned out and they had more than a year until the big day. Talk about an ideal client… They had the venue picked out & already decided to rent out the space next door so the getting ready shots would be gorgeous and stress free for everyone (and me duhhhh- thank you Mandi).
While our meetings will be at a Dunkin from now on (since she’s totally a Dunkin girl… less choices and easier to order- totally makes sense), we bonded over her pumpkin spice latte and my coffee for way longer than we both had time for that day lol but we loved every minute. From the beginning she let me know she wanted to do their engagement session as soon as possible to send out her save the dates (YAYYYYY!). So when we finally got to shoot the e-session it was a complete dream. I finally got to meet the love of Mandi’s life and watch them interact together while I said my cheesy jokes to get a giggle and we played around with fun posing. These two knocked the “giggle kiss” out of the park the first try… UNHEARD OF!!! Needless to say we moved through all of my posing in such a short amount of time which means more images for them!
Y’all totally get an A++++ in the client category! Now I’m even more excited (if that’s possible) to shoot your wedding in October of 2018. I’m so honored y’all picked me to shoot your big day and be a part of this amazing time in your lives. I hope you enjoy your engagement session portraits!
